My name is Mike Burns and I currently am living in North Little Rock, Arkansas.  I have been raising English Angora rabbits since 2008.  My rabbitry keeps me pretty busy but I really enjoy the bunnies and meeting people with similar interests.  I designed this site as a resource to share the information that I have learned over the years.  I am a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) and show my prize winning rabbits whenever possible.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Do you live far away and can’t pickup a bunny in person?  I can ship a bunny to you for a suprisingly low cost!  Below is an approximate shipping estimate to get a bunny sent to you.
1. $50 Veterinarian Fee.  The Vet will certify that the animal is healthy and able to withstand cold temperatures on a plane.  Bunnies must be at least 8 weeks old.
2. $20-50 Pet Carrier.  Airline authorized pet carriers are required to ship live animals.  Food, water and care instructions must be affixed to cage.

It’s really that simple!  I may charge a small fee for the above services but am willing to negotiate if you are purchasing multiple bunnies.  I have shipped 6 full grown rabbits as far as Hawaii in one container and they all made it just fine!  Email me with any questions.

Are you having a hard time taking care of your bunny or are you just ready for a change?  Don’t feel bad if you simply don’t have time to take care of your once beloved bunny.  I would much rather take your bunny back and find a good home for it than have it neglected.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need help in finding a new home for your bunny!

We will do it for free if you purchased a bunny from The Fair Hare!  If you plan on showing your rabbit you will need to get an ear tattoo beforehand.  Even if you don’t want to show your bunny, it’s a good idea to identify it as yours.  We will record the ear number and if you ever lose your pedigree or sell your bunny we will always have a record for your access or the next owner.

Just had to take a minute to tell you about “Fry Rabbit Supply”.  They hand make custom rabbit cages and are the best quality that I have ever seen.  I got an eight hole rolling cage with baby saver wire, urine guards and litter trays.  They pay close attention to all the fine details that make the difference between their cages and the competition.  The doors all have rouded corners to prevent scratches and everything is so easy to assemble.  The cages come in many different configurations and they can always custom make it to your standards!  They didn’t pay me or ask me to write this article, their stuff is JUST THAT GOOD!
